How To Use bFlash (OBD)

On a PC laptop you will need to download the latest version of the bFlash software: https://bflash.eu/setup
When connecting the bFlash unit to your laptop with the supplied USB cord you will be asked for a license key. Please follow all the prompts and a license key will be sent to our team to provide to you, through email. Once we send you that key then:

  1. Click the vehicle selection button.

2. Select the make of your car.

3. Under Petrol engine control unit, select the correct ECU type. Please contact us if you need assistance selecting the correct ECU.

4. Connect the OBD cable from the bFlash module to the OBD port on the vehicle. The OBD port on the vehicle should be located on the drivers side underneath the dash. Select the OBD Protocol.

Turn the ignition on (engine should not be running). Click the "Identification" button. This will identify the ECU in the vehicle and ensure that everything is properly connected and the proper protocols have been selected.

5. We recommend having a battery charger connected to the vehicle for this step.  If the Identification process is successful, move on to selecting the READ button. You will be asked where you want to save the file. Save it to your desktop or somewhere that you can easily access it. This will be reading the ECU's data.

6. The file that is created from the READ process will need to be emailed to us with your vehicles information. Please include notes on the type of fuel being used and any modifications that have been made to the vehicle, if any. We will then be able to create a custom tuned calibration for your vehicle. The tuned file will then be emailed back to you soon as possible.

7. When you receive the tuned file and save it to your computer, you can move onto selecting the WRITE button. After selecting this button you will be asked what file you want to upload and this is where you select the tuned file we sent you. Please ensure that the battery charger is on the vehicle and actively charging. The flashing process can take up to about 12 minutes to complete on some vehicles. When the flashing process is completed, you will be notified on the screen that it was success.

8. Everything can then be disconnected from the vehicle and you can enjoy the added performance right away.

Thank you!
